Coming in to see and take care of her pretty mares, Rissa cleaned out all the stalls until they were perfect. Cleaning out and filling the water buckets, she spent about an hour doing just that. Getting the forage, she gave each mare exactly 14 lbs each. Then, measuring out and dumping their concentrates (5 lbs) into their buckets, she made sure they were happy and doing well before leaving.

Rissa came in whistling a sweet tune. Getting her supplies to muck out the stalls, she greeted each mare personally. Serena was in a great mood and happy as ever. Picking out the worst of each stall, she filled the water buckets and gave out their forage for the day. Concentrates would come a bit later.

Coming back into the mare's part of the barn, she measured out each's concentrates. Tomorrow, she would start Serena and Royal's breeding concentrates, since they had been bred today. Making sure they were all good for the night, she left to check on Smokey.

Rissa came in after letting the stallions out to the pastures. Letting the mares out, they likewise ran around for a few minutes before starting to graze. Getting her supplies, Rissa cleaned out and filled each stall with new bedding. Filling up the water buckets, she measured out forage and concentrates for each mare for when they came in.

Rissa came in leading 6 amazing new Andalusian mares. She had just imported them directly from a breeder in Spain. They had come with their 4 stallion friends. Dega, Alado, Iliada, Careta, Dafia, and Intimo settled right in as Rissa set them up with food and water and brought her other mares in for the night.

Rissa walked in and said hi to all her mares. Doing the same as the stallions, she took each one out and groomed them and cleaned their stalls. Next, she filled all the water buckets and gave out forage and concentrates.

Rissa walked into the barn. She gasped as she saw Iliada out of her stall and mulling around the barn!! As calmly as possible, she went and got her halter and approached the mare. Stretching out her hand, she let Iliada sniff it and gently put the halter on the mischievous mare. Going to her stall, Rissa noticed Iliada had broken the lock! Putting her in an extra stall for a few seconds, she went and grabbed some rope. She had read an article about this trick about fixing them for troublesome breakout horses. Fixing the rope around the lock, she put Iliada back in her stall.

Sighing with relief, Rissa started at the beginning of the line of mares. Taking each one out, she groomed them throughly, checking their bodies for any injuries. Then, she cleaned out each stall and filled up the water and food buckets with forage and concentrates. Once that was done, she checked Iliada's stall to make sure it was secure before going over to the stallions.

Rissa walked into the mares' section. First, she checked Iliada. The rope trick had worked and the mare was still in her stall, waiting for Rissa to come. Starting with Whinnie, Rissa took her out of her stall, put her into crossties and groomed her. Then, she grabbed her cleaning supplies and cleaned out the stall, putting in new bedding. After she had done that with each mare, she went back over the stalls, filling water buckets and feed bins with forage and concentrates.

Rissa came in as happy as ever. The mayor, Avery, had accepted her breeding Whinnie to Avery's Morgan stallion, Flint. Starting at the first mare, Rissa took her out and groomed her. Then, she cleaned out all the stalls. Finally, breaking all the ice in some of the buckets, she refilled them with clean water.

Finally, she measured out and filled the mare's feed buckets with forage and concentrates before making sure they were all set. Then, saying goodbye to each one, she left for the stallions.

Chloe walked into the barn. She'd been hired by Rissa to take care of the horses at Arlington Stables. First she measured out their concentrates and forage and fed all the mares. While they ate she refilled their water buckets and quickly brushed each mare. Then she began taking the horses out one by one and putting them on the crossties while she cleaned their stalls. Once she was done and all the horses were happy and in their stalls, Chloe left the mares and went over to see the stallions.

Riley walked into the barn she'd been recently hired to train the mares here at arlington. She was excited. She looked down the aisle and admired the beautiful barn. She watched the horses smiling they were all beautiful. She walked down the aisle and checked the training list she ran her finger down it looking for thursday. She found it and read:

She nodded to herself and headed down the aisle admiring the mares she looked for the mare called chocolate kiss and found her. The beautiful bay Andalusian mare was breath taking she grabbed her halter and lead rope and opened the stall door stepping inside. She glanced at the mare and then haltered her talking soothingly. She didn't want to startle her. She lead her from the stall into the cross ties. She walked to Rissa's tack room and got a saddle, bridle, saddle pad, and some brushes. She began brushing the mare humming softly to herself. She watched as the mare eyed her. She groomed her off taking her time wanting the mare not to be frightened. She finished grooming her and grabbed the saddle pad setting it softly on the mares back. She grabbed the saddle next setting it on top of the saddle pad and then tightened the girth. She placed her helmet on her head and grabbed the bridle. She slid the reins over the mares head and unclipped the crossties. She pulled off her halter and set it aside. She slid the bit into the mares mouth and pulled the crown piece over her ears. She latched the throat latch and noseband along with the flash and pulled the reins over her head heading toward the training arena.

Riley walked back in leading the bay mare behind her. The mare was splattered with dry sweat. Riley made sure she wasn't warm anymore and lead her to the crossties. She grabbed her halter and unlatched the noseband and throat latch. She slipped the bridle off and slid her halter on. She hung it on the rack and slipped the crossties. She walked back to the saddle and undid the girth setting it aside since she'd use it again when she rode the other two mares. She grabbed her hand written list out of her pocket and looked at the other two mares names. She put it back in her pocket and went to grooming kiss. She finished grooming her off and clipped on the lead rope. She lead her back to her stall not a sign of her having been ridden but she had. Riley hated leaving a horse sweaty or dirty. She lead the mare into her stall and unclipped the lead rope and removed the halter. She hung them where she found them and shut the door locking it behind her. She pulled the note back out of her pocket. Crossing off Chocolate kiss one down two to go.

She walked down the aisle looking for dafia. her eyes landed on the young grey mare. She smiled and approached the stall. She'd be doing the same work with her as she did with choclate kiss just an introductory to what the horses knew. She'd do it with all the horses the first time she rode them it gave her a feel for the horses. She grabbed dafia's lead rope and halter and put the halter on her. SHe opened the door and lead her out to the crossties. She grabbed a brush and began grooming her humming to herself once again. She finished grooming the mare off and grabbed the saddle pad sliding it over the mares back. She sat the saddle upon it and tightened the girth. She grabbed the bridle and went to rinse off hte bit. She returned carrying the bridle and slipped the reins over the mares head. She slipped the bit into her mouth and pulled the crown piece over her ears. She latched the throat latch and noseband. She pulled the reins over the mares head and lead her from the barn to the training area.

Riley walked through the barn for the third time that morning. She lead a grey mare this time. Last time it'd been a bay and the time before that she'd just been arriving. She glanced down the aisle and then headed to the crossties. She unlatched the latched on the bridle and pulled it off replacing it with her halter. She pulled the reins over her head and clipped the cross ties on. She sat the bridle down on the rack and then went to the girth she unhooked it and pulled the saddle off setting the saddlepad on top of it upside down. She grabbed some brushes and began to brush off the mare. She groomed her til no sign of the dryed sweat showed. She smiled just one left. She headed down the aisle and reached the stall where the other grey mare she had to ride stood. She smiled brightly. She was beautiful. She grabbed her halter and slipped it over her silky ears. She undid the latch on the stall and lead her out. She walked her down the aisle to the crossties and grabbed a brush. She began grooming the mare getting what ever straw and dust had gathered on her coat over night. She finished brushing her sighing in relief. She grabbed the saddle pad and set it on the mares back. She grabbed the saddle next and set it upon the saddle pad. The mare moved from side to side making it a little difficult to tack her. Riley smiled what ever made her happy. She tightened the girth and went back for the bridle. She slid the reins over the mares head and unclipped the cross ties. She slid the bit into the mares mouth and pulled the crown piece over her ears. She latched everything on the bridle and pulled the reins over her head leading her from the barn to the training arena.
