MotherMom: Mauve Collins
Father: Tony Harper
Parents' Occupations: Mom/Heiress, business woman

H I S T O R Y && GENERAL
Not much needs to be said on Alex's parents. Mauve was raised a pretty white girl, very much like Paris Hilton, only smarter and further from the spotlight. Tony on the other hand, was born and raised in a poor class home, almost impoverish. The only thing they connected on was Parties. When he was fifteen Tony had managed to sneak into a nightclub. Mauve just walked in, her money and flashy cars getting her past the bouncer without having to flash ID. Not that she would need to, at twenty two. Somehow they found each other on the dance floor, got drunk and danced the night away until they awoke beside each other in a hotel. Tony (with whom Alex shared the no-hangover gene) got up quickly and apologized to Mauve for invading her privacy. Mauve still had a heart at the time (or maybe she was still drunk), but told him not to sweat it, that she had had fun, and even gave him money for a ride home.
Alas, they had not used protection, and would soon pay the price. Mauve fell pregnant, and had her people track down Tony. they had numerous meetings, and decided it best for the child to stay with Mauve as she would be more available for the child. Nobody bet on it being twins.
Tony and Mauve had also agreed to share the pregnancy and birth, and that Tony would visit whenever possible. While the two would never be a couple, they would be perfect parents. Another thing they agreed on was no ultrasounds. So when Tony was holding Mauves hand and she was screaming she never should have fucking screwed him in the first place, he fainted. No one had mention there were two or them, a boy and a girl.
Jack and Alexis lived the rich life. Jack, even as young as five, was shaping up to be... for lack of a better word, girlie. Alexis would have followed Jack to the ends of the world. So she put on a fake smile and sat up straight around her Mom. Jack was doing the same thing, only with a different person. When he was around Father, he'd put on the manly strong man act. The twins managed to keep up the act for almost two years before something happened.
Jack and Alexis were six when it happened. they were on their way to Mom's after a day at Fathers. Everyone lived in Sioux City at the time, but still had to drive from North to South and back to see each other. Mauve had sent for a limo to pick up the kids after a visit, and they were on their way back to her mansion. Then came the crash. Ask Alexis now and she'll downplay the event. She'd have you believe the other car just brushed the limo, and Jack died because the seatbelt tightened and cracked his spine. anyone who had been in the limo would know there were no seat belts in the back anyway. In all truth, in was a huge collision.
The car driver had drunkenly allowed his car to veer across the line. The limo driver had looked back to check on the kids, and when he looked back, faced a head on collision. He veered right in the nick of time, to prevent such a collision but the side of the Car Alexis was seated in would get hit instead. And then Jack had become a hero. He had leaped over Alexis, shielding her from impact. He had died after his skull was crushed.
They all had attended the funeral. Being almost seven at the time, details are exaggerated in Alexis's mind, a fashion that would continue throughout her life. To Alexis, the funeral was a grand event, with world leaders and celebrities involved. To her it lasted days, and Jack's ashes were taken away to be scattered in the Amazon River. True, it was a grand event, but not so grand as she remembers. It was a single day service, in which the only leader present was the mayor at the time. Jack's ashes were taken North-West to be scattered in Lewis And Clark Lake. Still, this was a pivotal moment for all three in the family.
For Mauve, she was shocked, and spent a few weeks pulled back from society. Mostly she spent it thinking. After thought upon thought, she came to the conclusion that it was her parents fault. If they had raised her better, than she wouldn't have journeyed into the night club on the fateful night and none of this would have ever happened. So she began to be stricter on Alexis.
For Tony, he realized how much he needed a son to relate to. Without realizing it, he began pressuring Alexis to be more boy like. On top of that, he began to drink more often, becoming almost alcoholic.
For Alexis, she felt like she had to fill the void where Jack had fitted into her family. Even from her young age, she was developing an instinct to please everyone but herself. She accepted how strict Mom was on her, began developing a more masculine side fore her father, and becoming more two faced. She started using different names when she was with different people, as a way of telling her, for lack of a better word, characters apart.. Alexander to be more masculine for Father. Alexis to please Mom. Alex to make her feel like she was lie. She took on a middle name, Jack, as closure on her brother's behalf. around ten years old, she spent a while known to her friends (which their weren't many of and usually never for long) only as jack, but that passed when people thought she was actually a boy. Around her friends she acted as she would around her Father, although a little bit more rebellious. It was around this time she was diagnosed with ADHD, and began medication. Her other Disorders should have been diagnosed at the same time, but were simply brushed off as symptom of ADHD.
When Alex was eleven, she began horse riding. No, that's putting it to softly. She stole a horse from Moms friend and managed to ride it with no equipment through the woods for a few hours without being caught. it was one of her only free moments when she was neither Alexander, Alexis, or Alex Jack. She was herself. When they finally caught her, Mom took it as a sign she wanted to ride horses, not a call to be freed. Before Alex could protest she was enrolled in classes. She hated every aspect of it. The fancy helmets. The funny saddles. The reins. Most of all she hated The Instructor. The skinny old man would give her fancy names for every thing, from pants to mouth things, to what horses are called. Boy Horse, Girl horse, Baby Horse. She didn't bother actually doing any of the tests, but still managed to smile and pretend she was having the time of her life, even if she failed every moment. Pretending to be bad was the only way Mom would end the lessons.
The only thing close to good about riding lessons was the horses. She grew close with the horses at the stables. She didn't bother with names. Names were just titles one was given or gave oneself, as she knew so well. Alex would sneak out at night, and using the skill she had acquired during day lessons, she would mount a horse, again without equipment, and ride wherever she wanted, till it was almost dawn. It was a good thing in Alex's life. She was so used to lying, she felt the only time she told the truth was out in the open fields with the horse she had chosen that night.
The same sort of situation happened when she was twelve with her father. She was visiting him at the gym when it came time for him to pop out and grab some beer. She had sat waiting for a while, before getting bored and wandered over to the bag. She nonchalantly threw a soft punch at the bag, and it felt good. So she kept at it, until she was beating the crap out of the bag, feeling just as free as she did on her midnight rides. nevertheless, her Father returned, saw her, and started training her. Like the horse situation, she didn't really want to box. But this time she had something other than a parents expectant smile to keep her going. Two things actually. The first was that it was a stress release. Whenever she started hammering someone in the ring, or going nuts on a bag, she could feel the adrenaline pumping through her and did what she had wished to do so many times with Mom's associates. Two, she had to prove herself. Other than herself, no female entered the gym. Boy laughed when they saw her boxing. Being as willing to please as she was, she worked hard to be equal with them.
Alex often exaggerates details from this section of her life. She will state that she beat the boys unconscious when they laughed at her, even though she only did that in the ring. She might say she purposely let her Horses foot land on the instructors toe. it wasn't that she exaggerated for people. This was one of the few times she was doing something for people. In her mind she would create stories out of situations. Make herself into the world boxing champ. Practice future interview's with sports magazines in her mind. It was just part of who she is.
Fourteen was a turning point for Alex. She slowly picked up smoking and drinking from her Father. She began graffiting things with her friends. Most importantly, she discovered fire. No you idiot, i don't mean she had never seen it before. But she discovered its destructive qualities. She started carrying a lighter or matches with her wherever she went, and began minor arson. To her it wasn't anything big. Just a hobby, as someone else might like drawing. It was her art form. As a bizarre side-effect of her Pyromania, Alex developed her fear of bodies of water. It was means for destroying her art. to an artist this is the ultimate enemy.
All parts of her life, the dual personality, Death, Fire, and Fear, came together on the night of her sixteenth Birthday. She had spent a bit of the day As both parts of herself. it came to night and, in need of a break, told Mom she was at Fathers and Father she was at Moms. She had time to think now. She stole some booze, and half drunkenly ventured by bus to central Sioux City. Even with the blurred memory of a six-year-old she had been able to remember where it had happened. When it had happened, the limo had veered into a warehouse. Now it was old and deserted, looking pale against the flashy restaurants either side of it. It was almost ten at night, the sky dark, and nobody was about at the time. She had researched about the warehouse one time a while ago, finding it was an old paper producer. Alex took a wheelie bin from the side of the road and filled it with newspaper from one of those free paper dispensers. She poured some booze in so it would burn. then she took the rest of her booze (which was quite a lot considering she'd taken a keg) and dowsed the factory as best she could, inside and out. She pulled out her matches and dropped a handful of lit ones into the bin. As quick as she could, she closed the lid and pushed it into the building.
The explosion was amazing. It was like something straight out of a James Bonds movies. And to Alex it was a work of art. Well, until the rain came down. Alex froze up, pack of matches in one hand, the empty keg in the other. The fire went out, though not without a fight. Like a fish out of water, Flailing and thrashing with its last breaths of life. The police came, after someone had reported the explosion. Firefighters put out what was left of the explosion, and Alex was taken away.
Alex was put into intense therapy for Conduct Disorder, Opositional Defient Disorder, and Pyromania.Mom paid bail on charges. To keep her daughter good image, she told police that a few friends had gotten her drunk, and convinced her to do it before running off. After the comocotion died down, Mom told Alex she was Remarrying and moving. Mom moved up a state. to North dakota, and remarried as planned. Father moved down a state to Nebraska. Alex's parents had decidied it was too hard to keep moving across the states. And so she was sent to Glen Oaks!
