auctions »
basic auctions are always more costly than usual sales in the sale barn. this is because horses sold at the auction house are of a higher value and therefore, cost much more. auctions come about in two ways - the first being auctions made by owners, and some presented by the town of glen oak.
making your own auction to make your own auction, you must have two things: - your own stable [ boarding stables do count IF you are keeping your horses there ] - the horse must not have had more than one foal previously, must have at least one show record [ does not have to place ], must be under the age of 6, and must be pure.
you are allowed to set your own starting price and ending date for the auction. you are also allowed to set a basic increment, but it cannot be more than $1,000.00 each time.
city-made auctions occasionally, glen oak will present a horse in an auction. this horse is usually worth an extremely large amount of money, and these horses rarely occur. the person who acquires the horse is very lucky, because they usually do well in shows and already fit the standards for most clubs.
these auctions work the same as owner-made auctions, but usually cost more and end sooner.
