Jill walked in, just missing the nooooooooooob of death. What a surprise this was. She shook her head, sighing 'Tsk, tsk', and greeted Danny. Danny was a bit shy around her now, even though his past owner said that he was outgoing. Oh well. She just had to see. She fed him 4 and a half pounds of Horse and Pony Cubes and then 13 and a half pounds of hay. While he snacked ate, Jill patted his shoulder. What was she getting into? After he finished his feed, Jill fed him a carrot. She would start training him tomorrow, perhaps. She smiled at Danny one last time and left for her apartment.

Jill entered the geldings' section of the barn. She greeted her only horse (so far), Danny. Danny saw her, remembering the carrot from last night, and nudged her head. Jill laughed and fed him 4 1/2 pounds of horse and pony cubes. He gladly ate them. While he ate, Jill decided to go out and buy some tack for Danny, so she left to the tack shop.

Jill came back with all of her new stuff. Danny had already finished his feed and was begging for more. Jill laughed. She decided that she would not start training him today, maybe she would tomorrow, or the day after. She wanted to get to know Danny a bit more before she got into any training with him. So she brought him outside and bathed him. It was a bit chilly outside, but it was pretty warm so she could give him a nice bath. She shampooed his whole body and his mane and tail. Danny almost fell asleep while she did it. She laughed. She scrubbed off any dirt on him with a sponge and then rinsed him off. Satisfied, she sweat scraped him off. Then she got into more grooming. She sprayed some detangler into his mane and tail and then got into his mane and tail. She brushed out his mane and tail so that there were no tangles, and then ran a comb through them to make them look nice and flowy. Then, she got into his coat. She curry combed any excess hairs off and then brushed his coat until it shined. Then, finally, she picked out his hooves. Satisfied, she led him back into his stall. Danny wanted to get out and run, but he didn't know this place very well yet and she would probably give him pasture time tomorrow. She left to go home and do some things, but promised Danny that later she'd come back and feed him the rest of his feed and his hay. Patting his shoulder, she left.

As she promised, Jill did come back, with a carrot. She hid the carrot while she patted Danny and made sure that everything was all right. She had just bought another mare, Nadia, but she wouldn't move her in until tomorrow probably. Danny nuzzled her for a carrot, but instead Jill gave him 4 1/2 pounds of Horse and Pony Cubes and 13.5 pounds of hay. While he munched on his feed, she left to calculate how much hay she had left, and she promised that she would come back later.

Jill came back, as she said she would. Danny noticed her and when she entered his stall, he nudged her. He had already finished his feed and was starting to chew on his hay. Jill gave him a carrot and he went back to eating. Food his his number one priority, anyways. She just hoped that he wouldn't eat too much at one time and colic. Patting his shoulder one more time, she left, back to her apartment.

Jill came back and greeted Danny. Danny nudged her chest a bit, and Jill laughed. Today, Jill would lunge Danny. But first, she fed him 4 1/2 pounds of Horse and Pony Cubes. While Danny ate them, Jill groomed him a bit, simply currying any dirt off of him and then brushing any dust off. Once Danny finished, Jill slipped on his halter and led him out to the training ring.

Jill led Danny back to his stall. This wasn't much work, but at least Danny could unleash some of his energy today. Tomorrow she would probably do the same thing with a saddle on him. She brought him into his stall and groomed him a bit, she just curried off any loose fur and then brushed any dust off. Danny looked acceptable after that. Then, she decided to muck out his stall. She led him outside and put some new bedding into his stall, and then brought him back in. For good measure, Jill gave Danny a big carrot to eat. Danny was almost begging Jill for more food, nudging her chest until she almost fell over, but Jill had to leave and tend to her mare, Nadia. She would come back later to give him his dinner and his hay. She patted his muzzle and then left to see Nadia.

Jill came back to see Danny. It had been a long day, she had lunged Danny for the first time and had gotten a new mare! Plus, now that the sun was starting to set, it was getting colder by the second and even though Jill's parka was warm, it wasn't warm enough to be out at night now. She heard the pitter-patter of rain outside, which would probably turn into snow by tomorrow. She shivered. It was probably nice and sunny in Los Angeles, no lower than 60 degrees. But enough of the weather report, she had horses to take care of. Jill gave Danny his 4 1/2 pounds of Horse and Pony Cubes, and while he ate his dinner she gave him his 13 1/2 pounds of hay. Danny was exhilerated with all of this food. Jill laughed, and fed him a carrot too, for he was a very good boy when she lunged him today. She slipped off his halter and then gave him one last pat. He was a very good boy today. She left to go back to her apartment and rest.

Jill ran in and was greeted by a very hungry Danny. She measured up 4 1/2 pounds of Horse and Pony Cubes for him, which he almost inhaled in. She laughed. After he ate, she tied him outside of his stall to be groomed. She just ran over him with a curry comb a couple of times to get rid of any immediate dirt stains and loose fur, and then she brushed overhim with a brush. It was very chilly outside today, and there were snow flurries around everywhere, so she had to work Danny very hard. After she groomed him, she put on his new saddle. He didn't mind, he had alreadybeen saddle broken, but still. Once she was finished, she grabbed a lunge line and led him out to the training ring.

Jill brought Danny back to his stall. She tied him on the outside and took of his saddle and lunge line and put them away, and then she ran over him with a brush. Danny was nudging her for carrots. She laughed and patted him on the shoulder. She would give him his dinner later, but for now, she was going to tend to her mares.

Jill came in and greeted her wonderful horse, Danny. She fed him his 4 1/2 pounds of Horse and Pony Cubes. While he ate, She curry combed him over a bit and then brushed him off. Once he was groomed all right, she put on his bridle. She was simply going to ride him bareback today at a walk-trot. He didn't mind the bridle as much as Jill thought he would, it took a bit of persuasion fof him to open his mouth and accept the bit. However, he did after a while. She patted him and took him to the training ring.

Jill brought Danny back to Cedar Brush. She replaced his bridle with a halter and curried him a bit and then brushed him off. He had learned a lot today. Tomorrow she would probably do the same thing with a saddle, and probably with more poles. Before she forgot, she tied him outside and mucked out his stall. Once she was finished, she led him in and gave him his dinner, 4 1/2 pounds of Horse and Pony Cubes. While he ate, she measured up his hay, which took longer to measure up than the feed. Once he was finished with his dinner, Jill gave him his 13 1/2 pounds of hay. Before he could devour it, Jill gave him a carrot, he had done very well today. Then he devoured it. Jill laughed, and gave him a final pat on the shoulder, and slipped off his halter. Then, she said goodbye to him and left to tend to her mares.

Jill came to Cedar Brush and greeted her handsome stallion, Danny with a pat and a carrot. She measured up his feed (4 1/2 pounds of Horse and Pony Cubes) and while he ate, she groomed him a bit. She started out currying any dirt off of him and then brushed him off. Once he was finished, Jill put the saddle on him. Danny didn't mind. Then, Jill bridled him. Now that he was fully dressed, she led him out to the training ring. Today she would ride him at a walk-trot like yesterday, but she would probably work him a bit harder.

Jill brought her handsome stallion, Danny, back to Cedar Brush. He had done very well today. She untacked him and then groomed him. She curried him off, and then brushed him down. He looked acceptable, but not necessarily clean. Tomorrow she would give him a good bath. Before she forgot, she tied him outside his stall and mucked out his stall. Then, she tied him inside his stall and took of his halter. He bobbed his head and then nudged her for food. She laughed and gave him his 4 1/2 pounds of Horse and Pony Cubes. This feed was a good feed for training horses. Once she was finished training Danny, she would probably switch him to a pelleted feed that was better for performance. While he ate, Jill measured up his hay. She put his hay in his stall and he dug into his hay. Jill laughed. She clucked for him to raise his head, and once he did she shoved a whole carrot into his mouth. Danny munched on it and then went back to his hay. Jill laughed and gave him a final pat on his shoulder. She decided that it was time to leave, so she left to tend to her mares.

Jill brought Danny back from her training session. This wasn't very hard work on Danny, but tomorrow she would get into a completely different world: 18" fences. She brought Danny into his stall and untacked him. Then she decided to give him a bath. She tied him outside of his stall and got out the hose. She started off by hosing him off, and even when Danny shivered Jill promised to put a blanket on him after his bath. She then got out the shampoo and lathered all over his body. Then, she did his mane and tail also. She lathered any dirt off of him and made him gleam, and then rinsed him off. Danny loved it. She then curried any loose fur off and brushed him down, so now he was gleaming. She then sprayed some detangler in his mane and tail and then combed them out until they were nice and flowy. Now, Danny was looking gooooood. Before she forgot, she mucked out his stall and then brought him back in. Then she realized, she hadn't bought a blanket for him! She quickly left to go to the store before Danny froze to death.

Avery Johns led Boogie into Cedar Brush Stables for Jill. He was a gorgeous, energetic horse, who was very well mannered. She knew Ms. Bliss would appreciate him, and have a great time working with him.

Then, she lathered shampoo all over his body; his coat, his mane, and his tail. She scrubbed him until any trace of dirt was gone. Then she rinsed him off again. She sweat scraped him and then curried any loose fur off. Then, she brushed him down. Finally, she sprayed detangler in his mane and tail and combed those out until they were nice and flowy. Satisfied, she brought him back into his stall. Suddenly, she heard a kick and a whinny in the next stall. It was her new horse, Boogie! She had offered on him in an auction and she guessed that she outbade everybody. Happily, she clucked towards him to see him. He showed his face and Jill smiled, he was gorgeous. Jill fed Danny his 4 1/2 pounds of feed and then measured up his hay. Boogie was trotting circles in his stall, he was excited. She gave Danny his hay and then slid off his halter, giving him a carrot. She gave Danny a final pat and turned her attention to Boogie.
