Valera was finishing tending to her own clydesdales when she spotted a gorgeous hanovarian stallion over down a bit. Curiosity and her love fo horses made her wander over to the chocolate brown beauty. She slowly reached out her hand to carress his velvet nose gently with her fingertips. Amazingly enough, he seemed to trust her. She looked at his register. Avo was his name. Ashlyn was his owner.
Valera snorted. Ashlyn would board in the same place as her to show her up

Coming out of Kazba's stall, she saw Valera looking at her horses. "Oh, hey!" she called. Walking quickly towards the other girl, she noticed Avo snuffling her. Feeling her heart melt, she smiled and patted his neck as well. Feeling very plain, she smiled once again, dressed in spotless but old riding breaches and a worn out grey tee. She'd had both these items before she even came to Glen Oak. Akwardly, she glanced at the faded pads on them. "You board here right?" glancing at Valera, she looked her in the eye.

"I do, actually. Saving up to buy my own stable for my girls." She gestured to her two clydesdale mares down the hall. "Estrella and Mewzik. Beautiful horses. They're almost all i've got." She smiled. "I really love Glen Oak. Without it i'd never have been able to buy these beauties."

"That's so cool!" she smiled enthusiasticaly and looked down the isle as Valera pointed. "Awww, they're so cuteee." she smiled softly at the heads sticking out of the stals. "I have Avo, Avont Gar, Kazba, Kazablanca and Gras, Hey Jealousy." she smiled at Valera happily, just moving to a new barn had been rather scary. Gesturing to Avo, she slipped the sweet-scented leather halter off his head and hung it outside his stall.

Ashlyn, I was wondering if you ever fixed that 'skills' potion? Remember, you can't train a horse in full eventing with one potion? If not, please make sure you've fixed that by now. ^^

Avery backed the horse trailer up to Haley's Comet Equestrian Center, her old chevy slowly winding down as she let it sit, stepping out of the main cab. Heading back to the trailer, she snatched Lacrime, leading her slowly out of the tight 'stall', and calming her when she began to toss her head as she was making her way down the ramp. "Whoa, girl. This is your new home, and you'll love it," she smiled at the mare, stroking her neck as she finally led her into the stable. She knew that the Morgan loved being spoken to, and it truly calmed her down.
As they entered the aisle, they were greeted by Avo, Ashlyn's first horse, and Gras, who Avery had previously owned under her work program and sold. Avery carefully let Lacrime socialize with the two horses for a moment or two, before bringing her into the new stall that she'd call home, doing all of the work for Ashlyn, at the moment. She refreshed her bedding, and gave her feed and water. Finally, kissing the mare goodbye, she headed home, the trailer bumping along behind her.

Throwing her helmet haphazardly over her shoulder, Ashlyn grinned and stuck out her tounge to herself in the mirror of her car. Sliding out, the crisp cool air greeted her and she shivered involentarily. Pulling open the light barn doors she noticed immediately that her new horse Lacrime was here. That was nice of Avery. Sliding open the horses's barn stalls one by one she hooked all of their leads and led all four of the horses into the indoor arena. Letting her eyes fall over the wetness of the stables she shook her head jerkily and led the horses back. Whinnying in disgrunteldment (O.O) Avo shook his long mane at her. Laughing, she slipped his halter back on and led him to the cross-ties directly ouside his stall. Slipping his lightweight stable sheet over him she continued to muck out his stall making occasional faces at the large amounts of manure. Doing the same with Kazba, Gras and Lacrime she sighed and rolled the wheelbarrow back to the mound of shavings she had ordered. They were clean, fresh and sweet-smelling. Reaching for the Oster brushes and working her way from Avo's flank to his neck she started humming a lullaby she'd learned on the piano as a child. Almost as if on cue, Lacrime dropped her head and closed her eyes lightly. Opening her eyes in wonderment, Ashlyn just continued humming. Once Avo was gleaming she returned him to his stall and repeated the same with all her other horses, noticing Avery had taken care of Lacrime's needs. She was too good. Feeding each horse a carrot and a flake of hay, she turned out the lights and walked through the wind to her warm car.
