Riley walked into the well lit stable and down to the stall which contained her beautiful grey thoroughbred gelding. The gelding stuck his head out of the stall and nickered a welcome. He extended his nose as riley approached pushing her lightly with his nose searching for a treat. Riley reached in her pocket and pulled out a peppermint his favorite. She held her hand out to him and smiled. He munched happily. Riley reached up to rub his forhead before setting the bags she carried next to his stall. She dug in the bag for the new halter she'd just purchased finding it she pulled it from the bag then returned to find the lead. After finding that too she slipped the leather halter over the geldings silky ears. She opened the stall door and lead him forward into the crossties. She'd ride him tomorrow today she just wanted to groom him off and put on his new stable sheet.

She pulled the tote with the brushes in it from the bag and opened it setting it next to her on the ground. She pulled out a curry comb and began to groom the gelding getting the loose hair and packed dirt loose onto his coat. After finishing the other side with the curry she slipped the curry back into the box and pulled out a hard brush. She went over the geldings body brushing off the dirt and hair she'd just loosened. She smiled as his coat began to shine like usual. He was very well kept. She finished the other side and returned the brush to the box. She pulled out a soft brush and quickly went over the geldings hide. He shown bright now his dapples glowing. She smiled he was such a lovely horse. She returned the brush to the box and got the hoof pick. She picked all four of his feet and set the hoof pick back in the box.

She returned to her bag of goodies and pulled out hoof dressing and a stable sheet. His other blankets and the other tack she purchased stayed in the bag she'd take that to the tack room later. She stooped down and put the oil on all four feet and placed it in the box with her brushes. She yawned a little sleepy from the long day she'd had. She unfolded the new sheet and slipped it onto the tall geldings sleek back. She buckled the straps and smiled it looked great on him. She left him in the cross ties as she went to go get a muck bucket to pick out his stall. She placed here bag of goodies in the tack room and grabbed a pitchfork and muck bucket. She walked back to punk's stall and picked it out. She dumped the bucket in the manure pile and took it back to where she'd gotten it. She went back to punk's stall and got his water bucket. She emptied it and then scrubbed it filling it with fresh water and putting it back in the stall. She walked to where she kept her hay and grabbed 4 flakes and took them back to his stall and shook them out in the corner. She then took him out of the cross ties and took him back to his stall. She closed the door and walked back to the feed room grabbing a scoop of her feed she dumped it into his bucket and walked the scoop back before giving him a goodbye pat and leaving the barn.

Riley walked back into the barn leading a beautiful dapple grey oldenburg named Tache. The mare eagerly pranced next to her trying to see everything at once. She sighed. She'd wanted another horse but hadn't thought of getting one so soon. She'd only been here 2 days and already had 2 horses. She patted the silky mare and smiled. Oh well she was worth it. She was thinking of getting one more horse and calling it quits 3 was enough for her. She walked the mare into the stall next to punk and closed the door removing the lead rope. She looked at the shabby halter and the torn lead rope. he'd buy her new tack tomorrow. It was already getting late. She walked down to the hay area and pulled out some hay and opening the stall door again she shook it out in the far corner and grabbed the mares bucket.

She walked outside dumping the bucket. She scrubbed it out and refilled it carrying it back to the stall she really liked the filly she looked something like punk maybe thats why she'd bought her. She hung the bucket up and walked back out of the stall closing the door and locking it. She walked down the aisle to the tack room and grabbed a scoop of grain and giving it to the mare returning the scoop to the mare she headed off to look at another horse before maybe heading back to the store.

Riley walked back into the barn not long after bringing in the grey filly she'd just bedded down for the night. She glanced at her watch it was already getting later. She still had to run to the store and get halters for the two new horses and a bridle and such for why not. She walked down the aisle to the stall to the right of punk. She smiled there wasn't a mare near other than two stalls away where her grey filly tache but it wasn't close enough he'd go crazy. She yawned a little she'd been up early and had been shopping all day. She unlocked the stall and walked into it. she grabbed the empty bucket and took it to fill it. She brought the bucket back and hung it. She went to the hay storage and got some hay and shook it out in the back corner of his stall. She peeked into punk's stall and tache's stall. She decided to throw them each another flake of hay. She walked back and grabbed two more flakes and went into each stall shaking the hay out in the back corner. She patter each horse as she exited the stall and locked the doors.

She walked out of the barn and to the trailer. She opened the ramp and walked up into it unloading the tall bay horse inside. She smiled. so two greys and a bay he seemed to be the oddball but he was already trained so she'd have a horse she could really ride while she trained punk and waited for tache to get older. She lead him down the stall as he spooked over the hose. She pulled on the lead rope and lead him into the empty stall. She unclipped the lead rope and hung it by the door closing the door behind her and locking it. She went to the feed bin and got a scoop of her feed and walked back to why not's stall she dumped the scoop of feed in his bucket and returned the scoop she walked down the aisle saying good night to the three horses then walked out of the barn and headed home.

Riley walked into the barn yeah it was christmas morning but she didn't care. It just meant tache and why not wouldn't be able to get thier new gear til tomorrow which was fine. She stopped at the first stall which housed her beautiful stallion why not. The bay stayed in the back of his stall dozing. He picked up his head and looked at her. She smiled and walked to the stall after the next stall which contained the beautiful grey filly. She watched as the filly walked forward to nibble on her hair. She smiled and rubbed the filly's forehead. "I know girl i'm going to brush today don't worry." she walked away to the next stall where her dapple grey gelding was housed. She smiled as peeked in the stall he stood with his head down glancing at her. "Oh are you jealous?" He nickered and walked forward pushing her with his nose. "Easy there killer." she rubbed his forhead then walked off to the tack room.

Riley came back carrying her brush box, saddle, saddle pad, girth, lounge line and bridle. She had brought her helmet from her house it was still in the truck. She sat the brushes down in front of tache's stall and reached for her lead rope. She opened the door and stepped inside hooking the old lead rope to mares tattered halter. She really had to buy her a new one. She frowned slightly as she studied the mare her coat wasn't as shiny or well kept as punks but that would change. She opened the brush box and pulled out a curry comb she began making circle on the mares coat with it. She loosened up the dirt and dead hair on one side and then switched sides she finished the other side and walked over to her brush box. She pulled out a hard brush and began to run it over the fillies coat the filly snorted a little then stood. She finished both sides and returned the brush. She pulled out the soft brush and finished grooming the mare. She smiled as her coat looked better. She was shinnier and looked sparkly. She put the brush back and got out the hoof pick. She picked all four of the mares hooves then returned it to the box and shut the box pushing it against the wall. She grabbed the lounge line and clipped it to the mares halter leading her out of the stable toward the round pen.

Riley walked back in leading tache. She just had two more horses to ride and then she'd go home for a while before coming back to feed them again. She walked her back to the crossties and unclipped the lounge line. She walked down to the end of the barn grabbing a muck bucket and pitch fork. She quickly cleaned out the mares stall and rebedded it. She sat the bucket near punk's stall since she'd have to clean it too. She pulled tache's bucket off the wall and dumped it. She scrubbed it and filled it with fresh water placing it back in the stall. She walked to the hay area and grabbed half a bale shaking it out in the corner of tache's stall. She walked back to where the filly stood and unclipped her leading her to her stall. She walked out of the stall closed the door behind her and locked it. She walked over to punk's stall.

She unclipped his lead rope from the wall and opened his stall door. She clipped it to the ring on his halter and lead him forward to the crossties. She clipped the crossties and opened the brush box again.She pulled off his blanket and hung it over his stall door. She pulled out the curry comb and quickly brushed him off. She then pulled out a hard brush and ran it over his hide. She replaced the hard brush and pulled out the soft brush quickly brushing off each side. She replaced the soft brush and got the hoof pick. She picked all four of his feet and replaced it. She couldn't wait this would be one of her first rides on punk since he'd been hurt. She grabbed the saddle pad and placed it onhis back along with the gel pad she'd purchased yesterday. She placed the new saddle ontop of that she'd already put the stirrups on the day before. She grabbed the girth and hooked it on the one side then tightened it and hooked it on the other. She grabbed the bridle and went to punk's head. She unclipped the crossties and pulled off his halter after putting the reins over his head. She slipped the bit into his mouth and pulled the bridle over his silky ears. She Fastened the cheek piece and the throat lath and fastened the flash. She pulled the reins over his head and headed out the door to the training arena stopping at her truck to get her helmet.

Riley walked through the barn greeting each of her lovely horses as she passed. Today she hoped to ride the two who were trained and then lounge her young horses. She couldn't wait she was almost three. She yawned covering her mouth as she walked down the aisle to the tack room to fetch her brushes and her tack. She walked back a few seconds later carrying her helmet, saddle, bridle, martingale, saddle pad and gel pad. Along with her was her brush box. She sat everything down and headed back out to her truck to get the two halters and lead ropes she'd purchased today for tache and why not. She walked back down the aisle carrying the two halters and leadropes. She hung why not's halter on his hook and hung his leadrop next to it. She did the same with tache's halter. She walked up to punk's stall and grabbed his lead rope. She smiled as the grey gelding peered over the half door to greet her. She clipped the lead shank to his halter and lead him from the stall.

She opened her brush box and quickly groomed him. She Grabbed her saddle pad and flipped it onto his back gracefully. She grabbed the gel pad and sat it on his back. She placed the saddle on the two pads and then walked to his other side fastening the girth walking back around the other side she slipped the martingale over his head and then fastened the girth snuggly. She walked back to the tack room fetching a pair of splint boots and bell boots. She put the boots on his front legs and then grabbed the bridle and her helmet. She placed her helmet on her head. She slipped the reins over his head and slipped the bit into his mouth. She fastened the throat latch and chin peice after she put the standing martingale attachment on. She pulled the reins over his head and lead him toward the arena.

Riley walked back into the barn leading punk. He'd had a successful exercise session and she'd been proud of how well he did. She was still 13 days away from having a full trained horse but it was worth the time and effort of training him. She Stopped in front of the cross-ties and grabbed his halter. She pulled the reins back over his head and pulled off his bridle after unhooking the throat latch and nose band. She pulled his halter on and crosstied him after she pulled the reins over his head. She placed the bridle over the saddle rack and undid her girth. She slipped the martingale peice off the girth and went to the other side completly unhooking it. She pulled the saddle off and placed it on the rack ontop of the bridle. She pulled the saddle pads off and placed them on the saddle. She unclipped one cross tie and pulled the martingale over his head.

She brushed him off quickly and then went and grabbed a muck bucket. She cleaned his stall out and put the muck bucket to the side. She still had two more stalls to do before she could put it away. She dumped his bucket outside and filled it up again hanging it back in his stall. She shivered slightly it was chilly today. She went and grabbed some hay and shook it out in the corner. She unclipped the crossties and clipped his lead rope back. She lead him into his stall and then unclipped the lead rope. She walked out of the stall and locked it behind her.

She grabbed why not's lead rope and new halter. She went to his stall door and opened it. She pulled off his orignal halter and put on the ground outside the stall door. She slipped on the new leather halter and clipped a ran the shank across his nose. She lead him from the stall and crosstied him removing the shank. She quickly groomed him off and then saddled him quickly. She pulled the reins over his head and lead him from the barn toward the arena.

Riley walked back into the stable for the third time that day she led the beautiful bay through the barn. She stopped infront of the crossties and pulled the reins back over his head. She removed his bridle and pulled on his halter again. She undid his girth and threw it over the saddle. He shied slightly at the sudden movement. She pulled off the saddle and saddlepads and sat them on the saddle rack. She wouldn't need them the rest of the day. She groomed him off and let him stand for a few minutes. She grabbed the muck bucket and mucked out his stall. She filled his water bucket and then put hay in his stall also. She lead him back into the stall and closed the door locking it securely.

She walked to the last horse she had to work today before she went to OMF for work. She lead the grey filly from the stall and began to groom her quickly. She grabbed the muck bucket once again and cleaned out stall taking it outside to empty it. She dumped her bucket and filled it with fresh water. She walked back to the filly and patted her. She wrapped her legs quickly and clipped the lounge line to her halter. She lead her from the barn and to the round pen.

Riley walked back into the barn leading her shiny grey filly. She smiled and lead the mare toward the crossties. She clipped on the crossties and unclipped the lounge line. She brushed the mare off again and unwrapped her leg. She lead the mare back to her stall and unclipped the lead shank walking out of the stall and locking the door. She sighed a little and walked down the aisle check on each of the horses. She walked back carrying a small bucket and a feed scoop she dumped a scoop of feed into each horses grain bucket and walked the bucket and scoop back to the feed room.

She walked back down the aisle and grabbed her saddle, saddle pad and leg wraps. She put them back into the tack room and walked back grabbing the rest of her things and locking her brush box. She placed it all back in the tack room. She grabbed punk's blanket and walked in his stall putting it on him and buckling the straps. She walked out of his stall and locked the door she walked out of the barn and headed off to OMF to goto work.

Riley walked down the barn aisle once again carrying the new blankets and things she'd just purchased for her little group of misfits. She eyed the big bay stallion she was still toying with the idea of getting him gelded she wasn't sure yet though. She sat everything down infront of punk's stall she still had a few things she wanted to purchase but most had gotten done today. She began pulling things out of the bags and putting them away. She hung everything up and then pulled out the blankets. She hadn't put the buckets away yet becuase she'd do that when she was cleaning stalls. She hung the blankets on the new blanket rack infront of each stall and smiled. She headed to the tack room bringing out punk's blankets and hanging them there also. She headed back to the tack room she grabbed her tack and walked back to where her horses stood. She set everything own and grabbed punk's lead rope. She smiled as he peered over the stall door to greet her. She clipped the lead rope to his halter and opened the door. She clipped the cross-ties on and went to go grab brushes. she pulled off punk's sheet.

She groomed punk off quickly in somewhat of a hurry she had three horses to ride here and 3 to ride at OMF. She couldn't wait it was her first day of work. She finished grooming off punk and began to tack him. After she finished with the saddle she headed to his head and slipped the bit into his mouth. She pulled the reins over his head and grabbed her helmet she lead him out of the door to the arena to work with him again.

Riley walked back into the barn leading the dapple grey gelding. She stopped at the crossties and pulled the reins back over his head. She smiled and slipped the bit out of his mouth replacing it with a halter. She pulled the reins back over his head and cross-tied him. She quickly unsaddled him setting her tack near his stall. She brushed him off his coat glowing. She pulled his blanket back over him this time his medium weight since it'd gotten colder out. She patted his neck then walked down the aisle to get her muck cart and pitch fork. She returned a few seconds later wheeling the cart and carrying th pitchfork. She cleaned punk's stall and pushed the muck cart to the side so it wouldn't be in teh way but she didn't want to put it back just yet she still had two more stalls to clean. She bedded down his stall and grabbed a new water bucket. she filled it with water and hung it in the stall. She walked to the hay area and grabbed some hay and shook it out in the back corner of his stall. She walked back out of the stall and lead punk back in. She locked the door and she exited the stall.

She walked to the stall to the right of punk's stall where a grey filly was housed. She grabbed the lead rope and opened the stall door clipping it to the grey's halter. She lead her out of the stall and to the crossties. She sighed she'd gottten a winter coat slightly not much of one but enough she'd be shedding in the summer. She grabbed a brush and began grooming her. She brushed her off completely she couldn't wait til summer when she could bath the mare she'd already taken on somewhat of a yellow appearance. She walked to the tack room grabbing her lounge line. She clipped it to the mare halter and unclipped the cross-ties. She lead her from the barn and toward the round pen.

Riley walked back into the barn leading the oldenburg filly. She stopped at the crossties and unclipped the lounge line replacing it with the cross-ties. She walked back to the tack room taking the lounge line back and returned. She grabbed the curry comb from the brush box and began to groom the filly again. She quickly groomed her off and grabbed the muck cart. She wheeled it to her stall and cleaned it out. She still had one stall to do. She pushed it down toward why not's stall. She rebedded tache's stall and then went to the hay area. She shook the hay out in the far corner and then filled tache's water bucket. She walked back out of the stall and grabbed tache's brand new medium weight blanket. She pulled it onto the filly and fastened the straps. She lead the filly into the stall and exited closing and locking the door behind her.

She walked down the aisle and grabbed why not's chain shank. She opened the door to his stall and stepped inside. She slid the chain across his nose and led him out to the crossties. She clipped the cross-ties on and unclipped the chain. She groomed the bay off quickly this was her last horse to ride for herself but she still had three to go at OMF. She grabbed her saddle and saddle pad and quickly tacked the bay stallion. She slipped up toward his head and slid the reins over his delicate ears as she tossed his head. She slipped the bit into his mouth and fastened the straps. She pulled the reins back over his head and grabbed her helmet. She walked from the barn toward the training arena.

Riley walked in leading the bay gelding. She pulled the reins back over his head as they halted infront of the cross-ties. She pulled off the bridle and replaced it with his leather halter. She clipped the cross-ties on after pulling off the reins. The stallion tossed his head as the reins touched his ears. She walked the bridle back to the tack room and then began to unsaddle him. After she pulled the saddle off she placed it back in the tack room. She grabbed a curry comb and began to groom him off. She finished grooming him and grabbed his new blanket. She pulled it over his bay hide and fastened the straps.

She grabbed the muck cart and pushed it to his stall. She slwoly picked out his stall and rebedded it. She walked outside dumping the muck cart and pushing it back to the storage area with the pitch fork. She walked back carrying his hay. She shook it out in the back corner and then filled up his new water bucket. She clipped it up in his stall and walked abck to the stallion. She clipped the chain across his nose and lead him back to his stall. She unclipped the lead and exited the stall locking it behind her. She hung up the lead shank and walked bak to her grooming box she picked it up and carried it to the tack room. She put it away and headed to the feed room grabbing a small bucket and putting grain in it she walked down the aisle pouring a scoop to each of her three horses. She walked back down the aisle returning the scoop and the bucket. she walked out of the barn and headed to work.

Riley walked down the aisle of the barn. It become more populated it for a while had just been her three. Then a few more boarders had shown up. Now her four stood in stall close to each other. The bay stallion why not in the first stall, followed by punk, and then the two mares tache first and then riesgo. She reached the first stall where why not was kept and approached the door. She watched the stallion carefully. She reached for his lead shank and unlocked the stall door opening it and entering. She clipped the lead shank across his nose and to the side ring of the halter and lead him from the stall. She yawned covering her mouth. She reached the crossties and cross tied the stallion. She pulled off the shank and set it by tache's stall. She unbuckled his blanket and pulled it off. She laid it across his stall door and went to the tack room to grab her brushes. She set the box down on the ground and opened it. She groomed off the horse quickly and then headed off to the tack room. She grabbed all of her tack and walked down the aisle.

She placed the tack on the saddle rack and then grabbed the navy saddle pad. She slid it onto why not's back and then placed the gel pad and saddle upon that. She tightened the girth and grabbed the bridle. She walked to his head and flipped the reins over his ears. He tossed his head and then lowered it. She unclipped the crossties and slid off his halter. She slid the bit into his mouth and pulled the bridle behind his ears. She pulled out his forelock and fastned the throat latch and noseband. She grabbed the boots from the floor and attached them to his front feet. She pulled the reins over his head and walked out of the barn toward the training arena.

Riley walked back in leading the bay stallion behind her. The dried sweat still present on his fur. She stopped at the crossties and pulled the reins back over his head. She slid the bridle off and replaced it with his halter. She slid the reins back over his head and clipped the crossties stting the bridle on the saddle rack. She undid the girth and pulled off the saddle. She sat the saddle on the rack and pulled the saddle pad off setting it upside down on the saddle. She grabbed some brushes and brushed the dried sweat off the stallions coat making him shine once more. She grabbed his blanket and pulled it back over his bay hide. She fastened the straps then went and got her muck cart.

She wheeled the cart back to why not's stall and began picking it out. She finished a few minutes later and pushed the cart to the side. She'd still have to use it later. She went to the hay supply and grabbed a few flakes shaking them out in the back of his stall. She filled his water bucket and then walked back to the horse. She slipped the chain over his nose and unclipped the cross ties she led him back to his stall and pulled the chain off his nose. Walking out of the stall she closed and locked the door behind her. She hung up his lead shank and headed to the next horse.

She walked up to punk's stall and grabbed his lead rope. She clipped it to his halter since he had his head out the half door. She unlocked the door and swung it open leading the beautiful dapple grey out. She crosstied him and unbuckled his blanket. She pulled off his blanket and hung it over the stall door. She grabbed a brush and began brushing him. After brushing him off she went to the tack room grabbing another saddle pad. She laid it on punk's back and placed the gel pad ontop of that. She slid the saddle into place and then went to his head sliding the martingale over it. She unclipped the cross ties then clipped them back. She pulled the grith through the martingale piece and tightened the girth. She got the bridle and walked to the wash stall rinsing the bit off. She walked back to punk and pulled the reins over his head. She unclipped the crossties and slidd off his halter. She slid the bit into his mouth and latched the throat latch. She placed the standing attachement around the noseband latch and latched it. She pulled the reins over his head and walked from the barn to the training arena.

The shod feet of her dapple grey gelding stepped down the aisle. She stopped before the cross-ties she'd just returned from a light work. He was beginning to settle but it was taking time. She undid the throat latch and the noseband pulling off the standing martingale piece. and pulled the reins back over his head. She pulled off the bridle and replaced it with his halter. She pulled the reins over his head and clipped the cross-ties back in place. She hung the bridle on the rack and unlatched the girth. She slid the martingale off and walked to the other side unlatching the girth. She'd just turn the chestnut mare out today giving her a few more days to settle in. She pulled the saddle off and turned the saddle pad upside on the top. She walked it back to the tack room with the bridle. She returned and groomed the dried sweat and loose hair off his hide. She slipped the blanket back onto him and then clipped the buckles.

She walked down the aisle wheeling the muck cart back to punk's stall. She quickly cleaned it out and rebedded it. She walked down the aisle coming back with a few flakes of hay. She shook them out in the corner and then grabbed punk's water bucket. She dumped it out and then scrubbed it filling it back up and replacing it in his stall. She walked to the gelding and clipped on his lead rope. She unclipped the cross ties and lead him to his stall she walked inside and unclipped the lead rope walking back to the stall door and stepping out. She closed and locked the stall door behind her. she hung up punk's lead rope again and headed to the next horse.

She walked down to the next stall and saw tache the beautiful grey filly. She pulled her out of the stall and pulled off her blanket. She hung it over the door and grabbed a brush brushing her off. After brushing her off riley pulled her blanket back on. She wanted to turn the two mare out today instead of lounging tache. She clipped her lead rope back and unclipped the cross ties leading her from the stable to the pasture area.

Riley walked back into the barn carrying tache's lead rope. She grabbed the muck cart and wheeled it to tache's stall. She cleaned it out and rebedded it taking muck cart outside and dumping it she returned and walked to the hay area grabbing a few flakes and shaking them out in the back corner. She grabbed her water bucket and dumped it out scrubbed it and refilled it. She put it back and walked out of the stall. She walked down to the next stall.

She glanced at the chestnut mare it was her newest addition but she liked her. She'd been a prize for winning a competition. She was already trained in eventing which was nice riley wouldn't have to do much training. She clipped the lead rope to the beautiful chestnuts halter and lead her to the aisle. She groomed her quickly and then grabbed the muck cart she cleaned out her stall. She wanted to do it now so she could leave right after turning her out. She still had three horses to train at work. She finished the stall and walked outside dumping the muck cart. She put it back where it belonged and headed back to the stall. She grabbed the water bucket and dumped it, scrubbed it and refilled it. She shook out a few flakes of hay in the back corner and she was done. She clipped the lead rope back onto the mares halter and headed out of the barn leading her to the pastures.

Riley walked into the barn stiffling a yawn it was early and she hadn't gone to bed til late. She saw the four of her misfits stick thier head out of the half doors and smiled the dapple grey thoroughbred catching her attention most. She walked forward and rubbed his forehead grabbing his lead rope. She clipped it to his leather halter and unlocked the door leading him forward. "Okay your turn first brat." she led the blanketed gelding forward into the cross ties and halted him. She clipped the crossties on and unclipped the lead rope. She walked down the aisle to the tack room returning carrying her brushes and her tack. She sat the tack on the stand and opened the brush box. She unbuckled his blanket and pulled it off throwing it over his half door. She brushed him off quickly.

She studied his gleaming coat for any cuts or scratches and didn't see any so she grabbed the saddle pad and set it gently on his back. She grabbed her saddle and sat it ontop of the saddle pad and then pulled the martingale over his head unclipping his crossties for a second then reclipping them. She pulled the peice of the martingal over the girth and tightened it. She patted his neck and walked to the stand grabbing the bridle. She unclipped the crossties and pulled off his halter pulling the reins over his head. She slid the bit into the horses mouth and pulled the crown piece of his ears. She fastened the throat latch and noseband after attaching the standing martingale attachment. She pulled the reins back over his head and walked down the aisle toward the training arena.
