I turned over and slammed my alarm. Great. It was morning. I slipped out of bed and got dressed in some drab grey clothing. Cereal for breakfast. Leery wanted to be fed, then go outside, then stay inside. He couldn't make up his mind. I grapped his long tail to stop him from scratching the new furniture. He mewed in protest, but purred as soon as I started stroking him. I let him drop to the floor. I pulled on my boots and went outside, with Leery following me. I pushed him back inside. I would start working my horse today. But first, I wanted some coffee.

Valera walked through feet of snow and finally found the right house. She rapped on the door twice, but got no answer. So she set the package she was carrying down along with a letter and walked away.
Kaider, Welcome to Glen Oak. I guess you could call me the unofficial welcome commitee. Enclosed are a batch of homemade cookies and a gift card of $50 for my cafe, Cappucino and Caberet. I live in apartment 3C if you're interested in ever stopping by. Hope to see you around GO.
Regards, Valera Harmony

I had crawled into bed aboout ten last night. Now it was eight inthe morning, and i had some work to do. Star and Bird had to be fed, along with grooming and mucking out the stalls and stuff like that. Then I felt i should go try to be social. I slipped on my clothes and got a donut from the kitchen. I looked at the package I had brought in from the doorstep yesterday. I read the note and smiled. Well, someone was social. I crammed the last of the donut into my mouth and filled a thermos with coffee. Then I went outside. This was to be another long day of settling in.

It had been another long day yesterday. My social status had not improved, but I still had to train horses. And I hadn't had time to take a shower yesterday. I stunk. I didn't have to set my alarm, this time I managed to get up before noon. I also managed to almost clog the drain with dirt from my shoes, which I had the smart idea of banging in the tub. Then I took a shower, changing into some clean clothes. I grabbed a cookie and some coffee as I drifted out the door. Another long day.

I had (stupidly) set my alarm last ight. I was awakened by someone sining a parody. I brought my hand down hard on my alarm clock. I got up, managing to fix the bed. Sort of. I pulled the cover up so that it covered the bed. There. I got dressed and got some cookies for breakfast. Yeah, I was healthy. Whatever. I filled my thermos with some coffee and stumbled out into the morning.

I sat at the table. I was trying to decide wether or not to throw a party. This place was a little...boring. I wasn't exactly the most social person, but even I thought it was a little to quiet. There needed to be something to talk about or do...I shoved the pre-printed flyers in a backpack and headed out the door. Screw planning. I'll make it up as I go.
