Valera heard of the new girl in Glen Oak so she stopped by to meet her. This was customary back where she came from. However, Riley wasn't home.

So Valera left her some homemade cookies and a 'Welcome' card and went on her way.

Welcome to Glen Oak. My name is Valera Harmony, Glen Oak's unofficial greeter. I missed you when i stopped by, so i left a box of homemade Christmas cookies. I live in apartment 3A if you ever want to visit.

Riley walked up the stairs and noticed the cookies on the stairs. She picked them up and looked at them a note caught her attention. She read through it and smiled. wow people are really friendly around here. She dug in her pocket and pulled out her key turning it in the lock. Finally a place of her own. She walked in and set the cookied on the counter and walked back out the door to get the furniture she'd just purchased. She walked in loaded with bags another smiled on her face. Yeah she'd spent a good bit of money but not to much and she purchased just about everything she needed. She still had a few more things but she'd get them tomorrow along with some more clothing. She set the bags in the empty dining room and began to go through them. She pulled out all the things for her room and placed them in a pile. She pulled out all her kitchen supplies and moved to the kitchen beginning to put away the cookware and putting her new knife set on the counter.

This place was beginning to feel more like home. She placed the coffee maker on the counter and then walked back into the dining room. She Took her new hamper to the bathroom and the new towels she'd purchased she placed them in the cabinet below the sink and went back to unpacking. She finished unpacking and walked out into the kitchen. It was getting late she might as well get ready for bed she'd maybe stop by valera's house tomorrow after she was done the little bit of shopping she had to do. She grabbed a yogurt out of the fridge and ate it and then walked to her room changed into the pajamas and got into bed.

Riley walked back into the house after an exhausting day of shopping she still had to goto the barn and take care of punk but she wanted to grab something to eat first. She walked into the kitchen and opened the door. She eyed the lunch meat and the closed the door. She went to the cupboard and pulled out the peanut butter and went back to the fridge pulling out the milk and the jelly. She made a sandwich and poured herself a glass of milk. She ate it quickly and downed the milk. She walked back out to her truck and brought in the bags of clothing she'd just purchased leaving her tack in the truck. She headed to her closet to hang the clothes up. After she finished she walked out side locking the door behind her heading to the barn to see punk.

Riley walked back in the door shivering a little. She shrugged off her jacket and hung it up by the door. She slowly kicked off her mountain horse boots. They really kept her legs warm. She pushed them aside and walked to the kitchen. She opened the fridge trying to decide what to make for dinner. She closed the doors again and walked over to the cabinets. She grabbed a jar of spagetti sauce and some noodles. She got under the counter and pulled out a pan. She took it to the sink and filled it with water. She walked into the living room and flipped on the tv waiting for the water to boil. She flipped through the channels finally choosing to watch CSI. She walked back out into the kitchen as the water began to boil. She poured in the noodles and watched across the counter at the tv. She stirred the noodles until they were cooked. She drained the noodles and turnt off the burner she poured the sauce over the noodles and waited for it to warm up. After a few minutes she poured the noodles into a bowl and walked into the living room taking a seat and beginning to eat her spaghetti.

She finished her diner and walked into the kitchen washing her dishes. She dried the dishes and put them back. She walked into the bedroom and changed into her pajamas. She walked back out into the living room and watched tv for a while then decided to goto bed it was quite late. She turned off the tv and walked into her room curling up in her large comfortable bed.

Riley woke up and drug herself out of bed. She loved it her bed was so comfortable and warm and she coould tell it was cold outside. She walked to the bathroom and got in the shower. She got out and dried off going back to her room and pulling on a pair of her new wranglers and a ariat polo. She fished through the closet and pulled out her got carrot? hoodie. She pulled it over her head and then walked out of the door to the kitchen. She stopped i the kitchen grabbing a bowl from a near by cabinet and filling it with cereal she grabbed a spoon and then got the milk out pouring some over top of the cereal. She walked out in the living room flipping on the tv and watching it. She flipped to the news and sat back eating her cereal. After she finished she put the bowl in the sink and walked back to turn off the tv. She walked to the door and pulled on her mountain horse boots. She pulled on her jacket and walked out of the door locking it behind her.

Riley woke up and stretched. She'd been exhausted last night. She rolled over and looked at her clock. It was still early great she had time to get something to eat take care of her horses and head to work. She rolled out of bed and pushed her comforter back into place. She headed to the bathroom taking a quick shower. She went to her closet and pulled her last pair of wranglers, an ariat polo and a pair of socks. She needed to do laundry later when she got home. She headed to the kitchen and opened the refrigerator door. She pulled out the milk and headed to the cabinets puling out a box of kellogs and a bowl. She grabbed a banana off the counter and a knife from the drawer along with a spoon. She cut up the banana and put it in the bowl pouring in the frosted flakes and milk. She put the milk back and headed to the living room flipping on the tv. She watched the weather report as she shoveled down the cereal. She shivered it was supposed to be cold out today. She finished the cereal and flipped off the tv. She put the bowl in the sink and headed back to her room grabbing her live to ride hoodie she slipped it on. She headed toward the door and slipped on her mountain horse boots and her jacket. She walked out the door locking it behind her and headed off to the barn.

Riley heard the buzz of her alarm clock as she opened her eyes. Was it time to wake up already? she groaned and tapped the snooze button. She pushed back the covers and sat up stretching. She grabbed a pair of dirty wranglers from the floor not having any clean ones and forgetting to wash them yesterday, a t-shirt, and a few other items and headed to the bathroom. She turned the shower and hoped inside hoping for the warm water to wake her up it always did. She got out of the shower and dried off dressing quickly. She walked to the kitchen now fully awake. She poured a glass of milk and downed it . She popped in a piece of bred to make toast and waited patiently. She had alot to do today so she wanted to get it done. She buttered the toast quickly and walked over to the door pulling on her boots and jacket taking a bite of her toast. She walked out the door and headed off to the barn to ride her monsters then off to work.

Riley heard the alarm clock buzzing she breathed deeply and rolled off hitting the snooze button. She needed another five minutes sleep. She pushed back the covers and rolled out of bed shutting off her alarm clock. She walked to her closet grabbed a pair of clean wranglers, socks, a t-shirt and a few other things and headed to the bathroom to shower. She quickly showered and got out redressing quickly. She walked from the bathroom to the kitchen. She stopped at the fridge and opened the doors. She grabbed the milk and set it on the counter. Reaching into the cabinet she pulled out a bowl and cereal. She poured the cereal into the bowl and poured milk over it. Returning the cereal and milk she grabbed spoon and quickly downed the cereal she had to go ride her horses and then she was off to work to ride for arlington it'd be her second day her first day went smoothly hopefully the second would too. She put the bowl in the sink and walked to the door pulling on her mountain horse boots and jacket she walked out of the door locking it behind her.

Riley walked into her house dragging after her long day at work. She pulled off her boots at the door and shrugged off her jacket. She hung it up and headed into the kitchen to grab something to eat. She grabbed a glass of milk and a peanut butter sandwich something easy. She quickly gulped it down and headed to her room looking at her watch it was late. She changed into her pajamas and headed back out into the kitchen she quickly washed the dishes and then walked into the bathroom tiding up. She looked at her watch again, She headed to her room curling up under her covers she drifted off to sleep.

Riley rolled out of bed. She yawned it was sunday the bay she got to sleep in a little more then most morning. She five horses to work with today which was alot. She'd be exhausted by the time she managed to drag herself home. She grabbed her clothes and quickly took a shower walking to the kitchen and making a piece of toast. The quicker she got done the quicker she could go do other things. She finished off her piece of toast downing a glass of orange juice too. She put the glass in the sink and walked to the door. She pulled on her boots and jacket and headed out of the door to the barn where she'd be for most of the day.

Rile heard the familiar ring of her alarm and rolled over smacking the snooze button. She stifled the small yawn. She was exhauted today would be a busy day. She had quiet a few horses to ride. She pulled the covers back and stretched finally getting out of bed she grabbed some clothing and headed to the bathroom quickly showering. She was already running late. She walked to the kitchen and toasted some bread. She grabbed the toast and put butter on it. She began eating it pouring herself a glass of orange juice. She downed the orange juice and headed to the door. She pulled on her boots and her jacket and finished off her toast. She walked out of the door and headed to the barn to ride.
