how strange, how small we must become
Called by the name of Regan Whitten since December seventh of the year she was born. She is eighteen years old, with a slender build and short stature measuring only five foot four inches. Bearing the skin of a slightly sun kissed Caucasian and a perfect completion. She has amazing hazel eyes that catch everyone’s attention, as well as long dark brown hair dyed black, with straight cut bangs and impeccable posture. The Daughter of Season & Auden Whitten, who are both environmental scientists, she is an only child and has had the luxury of traveling the world with her parents since she could remember. Though appearing to be well of in life she is a very humble minded individual who is very open minded and is know to be a great listener.
yet as familiar as yesterday
Regan is very inquisitive and thoughtful, defiantly a thinker. She loves horses and has been riding since she was three years of age. She also enjoys playing tennis, participating in yoga, anything to do with nature, reading, arts, and a wide variety of music. She has been a vegan since birth and only drinks water or tea. Her favorite color is green and when in town she tends to go to thrift stores, antique shops, bookstores, tea cafés, art spots, and music scenes. Her personal style includes anything vintage glam, exotic, antique, different, or indy/hippy. In addition, she has a particular liking for abnormal things and stuff considered weird or different.
the bluest iris that I'd ever seen
Raised to be quiet and thoughtful, she can be rather shy at times. She fears of fading into the crowd and becoming like everyone else and aspires to make a difference in the world. When nervous or unsure she plays with her hair and has a habit of being very obsessive compulsive with her living space, tending to be a bit controlling when things are not in their proper place. Regan will give her all to complete a task on time & in the proper way and is rather self confident until she is around a large crowd. She is always generous to others, most the time she is overly generous, and harbors a random humor deep down. She is very liberal in her attitude and strives to be open-minded and hear out everyone’s opinions before forming a statement. You will rarely see her get angry but when she does, it is not pretty. Overall, she has a very levelheaded attitude.
she vanished like a dream, sinking back into the ground
Regan has lived a long life in a short life span. Having been to nearly every continent on earth she is well traveled and accustom to change and culture. Her parents are both environmental scientists and met while in college. They both lived very liberal lifestyles and raised Regan with the same beliefs, giving her a very different outlook on life than most. She has always been very close to both of her parents so it was a particularly difficult decision to make when she decided to move to Glean Oak by herself, in a bold move to peruse her equestrian career. Her home in Washington was a very lovely place, containing a small but respected equestrian center. Known for their natural methods and green equestrian facilities, it was home to twenty of their own horses and accompanied by twelve boarding horses. Regan has done practically every equestrian discipline from western to English & everything in-between. Nevertheless, her favorite events have always been hunter/jumper, dressage, crosscountry, & eventing.
singing maybe i'm ashamed and maybe I wept real tears but maybe she was hiding because she wanted to be found
She tossed and turned all night, anticipating the coming day, she looked at the clock beside her inflatable mattress in the middle of her bedroom; it read 5:00am. Deciding that there was no use in wasting anymore time, she got out of bed and finished packing the few things left in her desolate room. After packing her things she decided she needed to head to the barn to finish packing Nuit’s things as well. She walked into the barn and was greeted by several horses, very eager for their morning feed. She approached Nuit’s stall and giggled as he tried to nibble at her cup of tea, unaware that things where going to be much different for the two of them in the days to come. An hour later Regan was packed and ready to hit the road, her parents and friends came to see her & her steed off as they began their crazy adventure. Heartbroken already, but eager to see her new life, she took off down the road toward Glen oak. I hope I am doing the right thing, she whispered to herself as her hometown disappeared in to the background.
