Hello, my name is Alonzo Malone. I have dirty blond hair, grey-blue eyes, and am 20 years old.
I have always enjoyed being around horses, however I have never owned a horse. When I was six or seven I rode a horse for the first time at a friend's birthday party where they had pony rides. I fell in love with horses and riding then and there. Unfortunately, my family was pretty poor, so we did not have extra money for riding lessons. So, when i was eight, one of my friend's mom got a horse and I rode him from time to time.
When I was about ten or eleven I managed to find a part time job at a stable. I cleaned five stalls everyday and fed the horses dinner. If I did this every weekday (the stable was right down the street so I could walk there) I got $40. This meant I was allowed to lease a pony for two days, as each day cost $20. I would ride on Saturday and Sunday, as I didn't have much time to ride when I had homework and work on the weekdays. I kept this job for about five years, riding twice a week.
When I was fifteen I found a real part-time job at a riding stable training young horses. It was a dream come true. In the five years of riding twice a week I'd gotten pretty good, so getting money for riding a horse was like a dream come true, even if it wasn't always as much fun as I would have liked. But I took the money from the job and put it in the bank, starting to save up to get my own horse sometime and be able to keep and afford it. I kept that job until just a few weeks ago, when I decided I had enough money to start out on my own. I had decided I need a fresh start. With my departure I had gotten several gifts-large sums of money and now had a total of 200,000.00.
Here, at Glen Oak Pastures I hope to find a house or apartment for myself and to find a horse. I want a horse to train, as that's what I've been doing for over four years. Here I hope to find a horse that needs me. I hope to make some friends and find another part time job so that I can continue to support myself. I can only hope for the best for myself in Glen Oak.
